How many miles on the transmission? Year made? What ATF did you use? Let us know.

Are all the dash gear indicators lit up solid and doesnt show what gear you selected? If so there is a fault in the transmission computer and it must be checked, repaired, and cleared.

Thx for the reply.. My car have 500k+ on mileage. I use dexron lll fluid. I topped up about 5.5l fluid.. measured the temp and fill it up until there is small amount fluid out. The indicator is working fine. It show what gear i choose.

I am not sure what you mean when you say 'slow moving forward'. Do you only get 1st gear? If so, then you may be in limp mode. disconnecting battery for a while should clear that. Also I believe you used the wrong trans fluid. I don't remember exactly but i think you are supposed to use dex V/ synthetic. As to the warning lights, I dont remember if they get turned on in limp mode or not, but the red brake light must be the one that lights up when you pull the parking brake. Unless it is the brake system warning light that i think is a different light from the parking brake light. Make sure your parking brake isnt sticking.

No the C4 audi trans is just dexron III fluid. They are based on the old passat transmissions turned for longitudinal mounting. Dexron VI was not even created yet lol.

The transmission is in limp mode from a malfunction the Trans computer has picked up. You have to hook up a scan tool capable of reading Audi transmission fault codes. Once you know the fault we can go from there.
