Default Rear Defrost Relay location
Cab anyone tell me where the relay is for the rear defroster? Thanks in advance.

Try under the rear bench seat. The battery is here along with other electrical items.

Reviewing the wiring diagrams for a 1996 A6 shows that relay is incorporated into the rear window defogger switch.

Found it. Thanks a lot. It got partially unplugged when working on another problem. It is working well now. Thanks for the response.
