Timing belt issue
Hi, not sure this is the right place but here goes,
I had the tensioner for my timing belt shear off the other day, got I towed home and replaced the tensioner, quadruple checked the timing but still seems like im getting no compression. I haven't got the compression tools yet so im just asking for anyones ideas what could be wrong with it? or any experience. it seems to crank fine with out any noises or anything it just isn't firing.

I have known the 12V to bend valves at idle when the timing belt failed. I'm sorry to say that you are likely dealing with bent valves. Your observation of poor compression is testament to this. I'd say you are looking at a head rebuild or an engine swap...

I had a timing belt failure on mine. Only jumped a few teeth and bent all 6 intake valves. I pulled my heads and put new valves in. I also bent the keepers on the end of the cams that the tool uses to hold the cams.
