Fenders spot welded. Will take alot of work to sweep them along side the original fender.
Noticed that my driver side seat belt had a cut into it at the bottom. I don't like driving around like that and ordered some new ones.
And i happen to know that back in the 80's there was a option to get red belts when ordering a new Urquattro. I only know one car in Sweden that got it and i couldn't resist getting some.

All very cool stuff. Lately I've been on a kick of sheet metal fab myself, on my B1.
I wonder if the red leather fans know about the seat belts... I would be like a Kenny Rogers Roasters sign in there.

Been slacking alot with my updates on the international forums. So here comes a post of what has happen the last couple of months.
Rebuilt a 100 instrument cluster with some new gauges.
Not finished yeat though.
Also started building myself a SPQ dashboard, which might explain the new instrument cluster. A lite bit updated since the 80's SPQ cluster hehe.
Been slightly irritated of my fuelpump, filter and pressure accumulator placement since the fastenings has been gone long before i bought the car. So it was time to move it into the luggage and create a new box to hold it all.
Thats all for now. Started with the dashboard yesterday and cut it today. Prob continue with it tomorrow. I'm one of those idiots going through the Swedish "Vasaloppet" Which is a 90km long cross country skiing event. So i have been busy training for that during the last couple of months. The snow melted away a couple of days ago though, so now its focus on the car.

Gotten a bit further with the dashboard.
While test mounting it i noticed that the cluster is hitting the steering column bracket. So ill have to cut more or less 1 cm out of the cluster to clear it. Will be fine since i only use the cluster shell.
Also got a package of AN hoses and fittings. My father pressed the connections at Volvo Cars in Skövde. Quite helpful having their engine factory service workshop at my disposal.
Also made a pipe for the AN connection that is going to be welded into the tank.
