You trying to blow up a lawn mower or something? :)
I get mine at the Dollar General. Super cheap with lots of bang! There's a bad joke there somewhere. I think the brand name is "Snap!" I can't actually remember the last time I used the stuff on a car, though.

Some of the aerosol lubricants can be used.....
The Seafoam Deep Creep can claims to be able to start cars. They also claim its a gun cleaner too. I don't know if PB Blaster will do the job or not.

Haha! Yeah, I ran a moped off WD-40 once...
Man, that thing was loud! Kinda hard to reach down and spray into the carb while trying to steer, though. Made it around the block a few times before it mysteriously quit running. Oh, well, I had to unsieze the engine before doing that to it anyway so it was already shot.

any auto parts store should have it. they also sell it at wal-mart, kmart, etc.
i'm not sure why aparts store wouldn't know what starting fluid is. it's a pretty basic thing to carry. it does help to start all kinds of engines (including automotive), but can also be used to thaw frozen locks as well. it's primarily alcohol, so it evaporates pretty quick. i always keep a few cans of the stuff around, you never know when the mower or snowblower might not start.

I've had a few different mechanics I trust strongly recommend gum cutter instead of starting fluid..
Gum cutter both cleans deposits in the fuel system, and works fine as a starting fluid- I've had engines runs pretty well on pure gum cutter. The upside is it's not nearly as flammable as starting fluid (ether or something along those lines) so it's safer to work with.
