Use a deadblow hammer and make sure you have removed all the bolts. It'll come off with a bit of coaxing.

ive been trying to coax it for 4hrs

I would just take the whole axle out. In fact, I'd just replace the whole axle instead of just doing the joint. It's not much more money, and it's way easier to do.

It's a requirement in the Bentley manual to put a thin coat of red Loctite on the axle splines where it slides in to the hub. If someone interpreted "thin coat" as slather it on, then you may not get it out with a hammer. You may need to use a three jaw puller on the hub face to drive out the axle. You risk unseating the hub flange from the bearing, but it would get it out. The last thing would be to use a torch on the axle joint to burn out the Loctite. You will have to replace the bearing though because you will most likely cook the grease and seals in the bearing. Lots of options, but it depends on how deep you want to go with it.

Best option would probably just pull the whole axle. Really not that much harder and not much more money to buy the whole axle.

I guess I'm confused. Are you trying to separate the CV joint from the axle shaft or trying to remove the axle from the wheel hub? If you are trying to separate the CV joint from the axle, then I would agree with everyone that it's cheaper and far less stressful to replace the whole axle.

Either way, even if he is trying to remove the joint from the axle and is having a hard time due to corrosion or what not, much easier to avoid further headaches by removing the entire drive axle/half shaft and replace the whole thing. Don't think the cost would be a big difference although I know when I replaced my outer CV joint, I paid the extra for the OEM quality and that one cost double what a whole aftermarket axle cost. In any case, get an aftermarket axle and call it done.
