Default New owner - 1986 Coupé GT

Hey there everyone, it's been a long time since I've posted here. I've been dying to get back into the Coupé/4000 game, so here's my newest edition to the driveway. It's a tornado red, Canadian 1986 Audi Coupé GT non sunroof model with 175,000 km on it. I am very happy to be back.

Nice GLI and Audi Coupe GT! Don't mind the other folks who say bad things about the GLI. I say, to each his own. I just want to congratulate you for owning both! Very few people have the opportunity to own two cars, one new and the other a nice example of a nice 80's car. That Coupe GT looks like it has been well looked after. Hats off to a nice find!

Exactly why i picked up this old beauty! So much character and so much fun. However, the GLI is much more practical for daily driving but i do agree with you. I fell in love with the inline 5 and the solid driving feel of these cars. Ive had quite a few...87 4000s (two of them!) 86 5000CSTQ, two 89 100's one quattro one front wheel. and now this is my first Coupe. Throw in a B5 A4 S-line and you can say im a seasoned Audi owner!

Thank you! the Coupe has definitely been well cared for. There's a few things to do to it, but its a fine example of a coupe for sure
