1986 Audi 5000 Obsolete
My Refurbished 1986 Audi 5000 drives better then most new cars..The engine is quiet and pulls hard. I have been looking for weeks for a air conditioning Condensor because the one I have is too far gone. I have tried everywhere and apparently they don't make it anymore. My Audi dealer told me that my car is obsolete which is my hobby car and I should replace it since you cannot get parts. I asked him his age, and he told me he is 29 years old, I told him I guess you are obsolete too....if anyone can help me, please..thx

I just saw a 5000 at PIR here at the NW quattrofest, on the track. Out of all the other cars that was one that made me smile. Wasn't so much fun when replacing the steering rack on one though! All the 5000's, turbo and non turbo use the same # for the condensor 443-260-403-C and it is discontinued. But, google that number and see what you can find. Ask a radiator shop if they can help you out. IMC is an aftermarket supplier in the NW, that # didn't cross over in their system. But it does in Napa. It goes to their napa number MO 74364 but, it says in the buyers guide it fits Acura but it shows as a direct part number cross reference from the Audi number to their Napa number. I didn't see size specs on it or I'd provide that to you. I wonder if a radiator shop can repair yours if all else fails?
