Default 1989 Audi 200 Turbo Quattro

So I just recently picked up an 89 Audi 200 2.2 5cyl 10v turbo. I'm looking for a little extra power. So far i'm going to be getting a 1.9bar wastegate spring, and I'm looking for some sort of exhaust. Preferrably a 2.5-2 inch stainless system. Something relatively cheap. Also what should I do for starters? I'm new to the turbo inline 5's, and turbos. I know quite a bit of cars, and I just want a nice little quick daily. Thanks in advance!

Together with the spring, you'll need a chip for the ECU and unfortunately I don't know who sells them these days. As for the exhaust, are you interested in performance or sound ? Here's my setup, and it was cheap. I went to Dan Fast mufflers and first asked them to cut off the two resonators. Then they cut the pipe going to the muffler and welded two flanges. With the gasket on between the flanges and all screws tight, it sounds normal. Removing the gasket or losening the screws will make the car as loud as you want. The reason I have this setup is that about twenty years ago when I was rallying I was a poor privateer that had to drive the car to and from rallies, about 60 miles. So before the rally, the muffler would come out completely and I would have the awesome sound you hear in the videos; but for transit and city driving (I was driving the car as a dd also) it was way too loud.

Intended Acceleration, one of the original chip producers: Audi Performance and Tuner - Intended Acceleration

There are other, probably cheaper, providers of chips for these cars. Try Google.

I have a feeling Intended Acceleration is not what it used to be; back in the day they were sponsoring my rally car, now it seems there's a car detailing business in their old place, also their website seems inactive for quite a few years, but I don't know for sure.

I've searched high and low and havent found anything. I emailed Ben Swann and he said that he was thinking about getting back in the business for a winter project. Might go that route, but I'll have to wait

Quite a shame really, seems like those older models are forgotten; all I can see is for newer models; don't give up though
