Greetings audi fans
Ive got a 1990 200 tq 10V and I'm hoping to put the engine from a 1994 s4 20V into it. Has anyone done this swap.? Wondering if there two engines are interchangeable ? Without major modifications? Thanks . any advice or tips would be a big help.

Yes, they are interchangeable, I saw them fit in urquatrros, 90, and even 4000 Besides the engine you need to also get all the 20V wiring.

Thanks, I was planning on getting the whole car as a parts car for my 200tq but the s4 is in better shape . so the 200 tq is now going to be the parts car and the s4 20V will become the back-road runner. Thanks for the input.

Well,,, it was fun will it lasted. S4 gave out a good puff of black smoke and died.Cranks over very fast , almost freely. Zero pressure at tailpipe while cranking.. I don't think that is good news. So looking to get 200 tq back on the gravel. Turbo went on it. anyone know if the turbo from the 20v s4 would fit on the 200 tq 10v?
