Default 1991 200 20V manual no start

My wagon is in a no start mode. Pulled away from a light and as I shifted to 2nd gear car shut off. Once I got it home checked the position sensors, coil, wires, distributor, rotor button all seem good. I have power at coil on both sides, checked triggering of injectors, all good. But I have nothing once it gets to the distributor so plugs aren't firing. The distributor gear seems fine. Hall sensor? Bad rotor button? I have heard that wires can disconnect from the back of the instrument panel and cause this as well. Haven't looked there yet. Any other thoughts?

Highly unlikely as the car will run without the instrument cluster plugged in.
Has to be something with the crank sensors / flywheel timing pin or the hall sensor / dizzy gear. Are you sure the dizzy gear is good you pulled the cap & turned the engine over & watched the rotor spin? Also check to make sure the timing pin on the flywheel is intact and present. Timing belt is intact and the timing marks all line up at TDC?

Everything checks out on the pin, the sensors are new, gear on distributor is good, good timing belt, don't know how to check the hall sensor I will have to check that out. I may change out the rotor button just to see.

crank and cam signal must be dead on before the ecu will send a trigger signal to the coil

I replaced the sensors and now the rotor button and distributor cap. I have injectors triggering and fire from coil to distributor, just not out of the distributor so I'm not sure what else to replace besides the hall sensor.

Spark at coil but not at end of the plug wires does not compute with non working hall sensor. Are you sure the rotor is turning?

How about a weak coil, bad coil wire to cap, bad cap, bad rotor, bad wires. In that order.
