200 20v won't start

I thought you said the plugs were wet and fuel was squirting. No longer the case ? Can you get some starting fluid in the fuel injection system ? I used to to this to my old 5000 and it helped starting.

Distributer is good, I have the brass gear installed from a previous failure. I checked the timing with the TDC mark on the flywheel, and everything was perfect also.
I did have one change of events though. On one of the start attempts, after cranking the motor for at least 10 seconds, the motor tried to start for about ten revolutions. It seemed to be starving for something, but as soon as I stopped cranking, it died. Pushing the gas also made it stop trying. So maybe fuel?

It does indeed feel like the car is not getting adequate fuel. I don't think the 3B has a fuel distributor, but I am leaning towards fuel as the problem. The car is getting fuel to the injector but I have not tested pressure. Would low fuel pressure cause a no start condition though?

You are correct that the 3B does not have the fuel distributor the 10-valve I5s have. You know the fuel pump runs, but do you know the fuel pump relay is working correctly? You said you took out the relay to jumper to test the pump. Look on Utube for relay testing procedure. I once had a fuel pump relay fail=no start on my 3B sedan. That was a symptom of a failing fuel pump, which apparently stressed the relay, because the replacement relay went bad shortly after installation. Replaced the pump and no problem for years.

After much thought and troubleshooting I finally figured out the problem. It was the coil. Funny though, even till the bitter end, the coil still ohmed out fine, as well as produced a good spark. What must have been happening, is the coil had enough left that it produced a good spark when the plug was out of the engine. When the plug was placed back in, the increased pressure of compression must have deterred the spark from forming. Weird one, but happy it's finally on the road again!
