Default Brake light

Hi all,
I have a 91 200 20v and am struggling with some brake issues. I had been having symptoms of a bad brake bomb (brake light staying on for 30 sec-min after startup, light coming back on after normal driving for approx 25-30 miles, hard pedal after 10-15 pumps of the pedal after shutdown) for several months and finally replaced the bomb with a rebuilt unit from a reputable source. After replacing the bomb, all was great, lights went off, much better brake feel, etc. After operating glitch free for about 1,000 miles, some of the symptoms are starting to re appear. Brake light stays on for a while after startup, comes on after driving a fair distance. The bomb passes the pedal pump test still though. Do I have a bad bomb again? Any ideas?

Thanks,
Dan

Make sure your fluid level in the hydraulic reservoir is up and the tension on the hydraulic pump belt is sufficient. I've gotten the brake warning light with a low level in the tank or a belt that's apparently slipping slightly on the pump pulley.

Well. I think your bomb (accumulator ?) became dead and checked the depth of inside by insert the wire after removed bomb. How deep, good one has short depth and bad one has too deep. Try this or may not work? x19
