Climate Control behavior
OK, so coming from previous posts, I got my 200 10V back.
First of all, about the voltage issues: We took about 4 pounds of unwanted/not needed cables : After market alarm went out, relays on headlights went out and put the installation back at the original layout.
Anyway, while the car was at the shop, I wanted to go in detail on the Climate Control I was having issues with. Cold A/C was fine. Cold and thru the front vents, so no issues there.
Temperature regulation is also perfect. Transition is done nicely thru-out the range and switching cold/heat with no issues.
Problem was with heat : There was no heat at all coming thru the foot vents ( it was only coming thru the windshield vents). To make it short, one of the vacuum lines was not plugged in one of the servo motor.
Anyway, everything was hooked up properly according to Bentley and here is outcome.
in AUTO MODE : IF I want to have heat thru the foot vents, I have first to put the Temp on LO temp, then cold air will come thru front vents, and THEN, rise Temperature until wanted one ( in heat range) and then I will get the heat thru the foot vents. Only then I will have the heat thru the foot vents. If I do put some heat right away, I will not get any heat, and I have to go thru the COLD/THEN hot temp transition.
in ECON MODE: Here, the system doesnīt seem to do anything: All air will go thru the windshield vents, either cold or hot if I put it in ECON right away. IF I want to have ECON mode heat thru the foot vents, this is the sequence I have to follow : AUTO and COLD, then wait for air to come thru front vents, then switch to HEAT ( still in AUTO), then I will get heat thru the floor vents....and, just THEN, switch to ECON and itīll stays there ( heat thru floor vents), and it will hold it without issues.....
So, what is wrong with my system?
I wish to just start the Climate Control by setting the TEMP ( letīs say) to 72šF in either ECON or AUTO and if itīs cold outside, to have a nice hot flow of air thru the floor vents, which is how it should be.......
Thanks

Here is the SJM site for trouble shooting the climate control. One easy thing to remember is that the system will default to the windshield defrost mode when there is a fault or failure. This is to assure the driver will have heat to defrost the windshield for safety.
