Hey all!

Just picked up a 1980 5000 Turbo, car is original down to the tires. 31,000 miles. Black with goldish trim, kind of a time capsule car. It's been a long time since I've even seen one of these cars, I guess they've all gone the way of the crusher. This one spent it's life in an underground parking garage, it's amazingly rust free.

It'll be an interesting project, hope to find lots of help and useful info on these boards. I find there's very limited knowledge on these first gen 5000's and even fewer that own one.

It's not my first Audi, in high school i had a 1980 5000 "S" model, this started a love for Audi's, particularly the 5 cyl models. I've also owned a 1988 Olymipic edition 5000TQ, 1987 5000 tq, 1989 or 90 200 10v, 1986 4000 quattro, and a 1994 URS4.
