How often do you replace the oil on a 1990 V8q?

(Yes I searched)

On page 84 of your owners manual it says every 7500 miles. Under difficult operating conditions, for example extreme low temperatures or in very dusty regions ect. some service work should be performed between the intervals specified. It also states in the Audi Advantage Owners Guide the oil and filter should be changed at least twice a year.

Thanks. I'll have to find an owners manual now.

I change mine every 3-4K since I use regular oil, some guys go longer with synthetic. Just because it holds more, doesn't mean regular oil doesn't break down/get dirty. The manual also said tranny was "filled for life" and we all know that was a bad idea. My Duramax say's every 10K(holds 10qt), but I do that every 5K....It's totally black and thinner by then. Tom

I've got a few spare owners manuals, just not sure where they are. I'll look, Tom
