Default V8 alternator

I'm changing out the alternator on my 91 V8 5 speed and I have everything in, but I didn't pay attention to the wiring when taking it off so I'm a little worried about trying it. My question is with the two small wires. I seem to remember one coming from the D+ 8mm bolt and the other in a different spot. Any one with any ideas would be appreciated.

Thanks, Travis

I don't have one in front of me, but from memory one goes under rubber boot(D+?) other is a ground that goes to one of the small case corner nuts and would guess it's a brown wire.

That's what I was thinking. And now that I've heard it, I believe you are right.

The small blue wire was curled slightly in the boot. And the brown was up on the top bolt for the cover. Thank you!

So that was the case but I may have fried some of the other components due to that mix up. That brown wire comes off of the suppression condenser #441903291. Could mixing that around have caused the ignition compressor #029080036 on the back of the alternator or the voltage regulator to go? Or ruin the alternator itself? I need to start marking things.

Also, if I have ruined those, the voltage regulator is easy enough to get, but the other two parts listed are not so easily found. Anyone with an idea for them?
