My throttle stuck wide open today and bounced on the 7000 rpm rev limiter. I fixed it with your advice! thanks! I took pictures of the stuck parts and circled them in green. I used PB Blaster and wiggled it until it broke loose. Had to take out 6bolts and disconnect one hose to get to the butterfly valves on the front of the intake.

Hi. Just curious if you are able to run the car with the exposed butterfly's like an old carb. I've got mine torn down as the photo's shows in this thread, and would like to pour sea foam down the throat. Thanks.

Nope, The picture there shows what you would see as the "bottom" or past the butterfly.

Sea foam would go right in there and free up some stuck oil rings I bet, so good idea. I think it would run, but you should plug the big hose with something. The hose next to the butterflys. It'll run rough without the mass air sensor and idle control valve at low rpm. Better keep it around 1500 rpm or so.

My throttle is still working perfect. Not sticky at all.
