Default 1988 Audi 90 2.3L Problems

Hey guy's, I have a 88 audi 2.3. That I recently started overhauling. I decided to go straight pipe catless. Ive purchased and installed the iO2 Bypass simulator for the o2 sensor and in the attempt I accidentally touch 2 of the three wires that the O2 sensor connects to and the car just went nuts very high idle 2400 rpm horable gas milage and very sluggish. Any solutions or advice would be much appreciated.

why are you working with wires that directly feed to your ECU while its under power?!
try clearing your codes/reset the ECU, after that try pulling the codes if anything still remains. check your fuses, report back.

I am unable to pull any codes due from a bad instrument panel. I have done a little checking on how to reset the ecu and people have said pull the negitive off for a while and other people said to pull the positive for a while ????!!?? Not sure witch direction to go

doesn't matter, you are cutting power to ECU. pull + and - off if you want.
what's wrong with your cluster?

you need to get a wiring diagram and trace the wires that you have shorted out. but fix your cluster so we can actually see what's wrong with your car

Hey, got it figured out and fixed. It ended up being a bad Timing 2 fuse and a cold start valve plugged up. I appreciate the help and suggestions. This car runs like a raped ape!!!!😆
