Default 1989 fwd 90 suspension

My stock suspension is incredibly hard. How can I soften it up but keep the stock stance? Changing which components would give me the most softening, in which order?

I want to keep the 14' OEM wheels, so obviously I need a thicker tire: 65+. The current tires are pretty severe but are stock dimensions.

How about springs and/or shocks/struts? Recommendations on make/model of hardware?

I would think your shock(s) are frozen or just stuck. Could be someone in the past fitted very stiff shocks.

I am fond of the Sachs "Advantage" shocks.

Give the front end a good going over. "A" arm bushings get worn out..and shock mounts.

Thicker tires, A arm bushings, front and rear shocks, mounts, etc., much better now!
