1994 Cabriolet Rear Speakers Dead
I am trying to fix the rear speakers in my 94 Cabo. I have the Gamma radio and all connections seem fine on the back. I have also checked the rear amplified speakers for loose wires and the 7.5 amp fuses are fine as well. If anyone has experienced the same issue or has any ideas it would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

Those are "active" Nokia speakers and need 12v power in addition to the signals to produce any volume. Check to make sure you have power to the mini-amps on the speakers. There should be a sub-woofer in the middle too. Is it working?
Your rear speakers look like this:
I am sure the white wire is 12v with the key and radio on..should power up the antenna with the rear speakers too.

The chances of finding out that junkyard car has the speakers all with degraded rubber/foam is very high. I have seen more than 10 cars in junkyards - from IL to FL - I always check the rear speakers - they are all bad. Subwoofer is way better on quality thou.
I sourced a set of perfect Nokias from UK 2 years ago.
Also I have seen a retrofitted Hertz same size speakers with the "active" stuff under but only someone who know how to can do it. I think this is the best alternative.

Wiring in new ones is the best option. I used some 4 inch alpines in the front and 5.25 in the back and an alpine cde 153bt to power it all. You can drill new holes in the rear mount plate to hold the rear speakers in and cut the already installed wiring harness for the new speakers.
