So through various impulse purchases i have aquired a 2.2t head (5000), intake and exhaust manifold, fuel injectors(for cis), wastegate & downpipe, Turbo (k24), rubber intake hoses, oxygen sensor. I have a 1988 Audi 90 Quattro with a 2.3 L NG 5 cylinder that i would love to turbo. I was wondering if i swap the heads, can i use the orginal ecu? or would i purchase a standby ecu system ,can i get away with just regulating the fuel and spark with CIS and running the stock 2.3 ecu? I know a few things i need at the moment are piping, intercooler and audi cis fuel distributor, anything technical?new sensors or the ecu?. I'm aware of the compression, i was planning to stack 2 head gaskets on each other to lower it.
