Default 2nd rad on my b3 Audi Quattro

Hi guys,
I'm not a mechanic or car genius but can someone tell me what the other radiator is on the front of the car? It sits behind the grille , the other one has the fans behind it which sits on one side of the engine bay, also anyone know how this comes off? As it looks secured to the crossmember.
I've added image
Thanks

Thanks

that's another cooling radiator. as for removal..... check if there are any bolts on the bottom of it. i'm not to familiar with the 10Vs, so can't tell you exactly.

Secondary radiator to aid in cooling in hot climates. Should not be necessary on a 10v. Plug the lines if you leave it removed, do NOT loop them together.

Oops. So I just looped mine together yesterday. What's the issue with looping? Logically, I reasoned it would maintain whatever flow and direction the coolant was using, but I'm fine knowing about plugging. And of course if you know of a plug source - bonus!

loop=path of least resistance for the fluid.
plug=force the coolant to go through the other radiator
