'95 Cab lowering springs
So, I'm on a roll with getting our 95 Cab rolling. I finished my front suspension rebuild (Bilstein struts and shocks, mounts, ball joints, inner and outer tie rod ends, and control arm bushings), new rotors and pads all around. The car now drives so much better than I could have hoped.
So now, I'm looking at the profile of the car and I start to think "wouldn't it look better if it was dropped just a little bit, enough to shrink the gap between the fender and the tire".
I start to look around for Springs, and I only find an application for the sedan. I'm sure the fronts would be OK, but the rear shocks are different. Does anyone make a spring kit that fits the Cab? Or is there a different answer?
Thanks,
Shawn

Over in Germany there is more activity around our Cabriolets..you can use chrome as your browser and do google translate to read ..some there have lowered the cars.
One problem that comes up is the rear axle will become out of center with the car once lowered..due to the panhard rod. They do talk about making an adjustable panhard rod to correct the problem.
The springs on our North American cars were "sport" spring due to the heavy 2.8 engine with all the accessories. Not many of the Cabriolets in Europe came with the big engine with all the stuff we have..so be aware that any spring recommendations could be for a Cabriolet with a 4 cylinder 1.8 engine with no A/C...
I would just go with the good work you have done..our Cabs are pretty low as it goes..any lower and you might bang the catalytic converters and damage them..that happens when the top shock mounts get worn out and makes ground clearance about an inch lower than normal.
