So my starter went completely silent in middle of the winter so i just tried removing it. But problem is I can't find it. After 30 minutes of searching I almost started to cry and had to get back inside to warm my frozen fingers.

So i removed battery and under it I found hole. All I could find that way was exhaust manifold. Lifted passanger side and removed tire and tried looking but I just could not find it. Does anyone have any pics so I could see where to reach?

Car is automatic so there's no way I can get it out of the snow somewhere warm without starter.

The starter lives under the manifold on the passenger side. Got to go under the car to get to it. Sorry, no pictures

Hi, If you are not done starter out yet,
you have to remove header pipe or down form exhaust manifold.
better to remove the battery and will be able to leach couple nuts on flange from upper hole (after remove the battery and see hole)=4 nuts are not easy to Remove and Reinstall and you will need flange gasket i think.

Before you attack this task, try to install the relay for starting circuit.
Sometime, low voltage comes out from ignition switch to the starter solenoid.
Still no starting or starter no spin then you have to remove the starter!.
