Default Audi Coupe Quattro Side Skirt question

So I have a noob question as I'm much more familiar with UR-S', b5's and c5's. I'm purchasing a 91 Coupe Quattro that has a dent in the side skirt towards the rear of the car. Are the skirts removable and swappable for good one, or is it structural? I'm nowhere near the car right now otherwise I'd look for myself. Thanks.

So it's a rocker panel and will have to be pulled out...fun.

Luckily it doesn't appear to go into the multi layer steel underneath. I spoke to someone who had to do this on his cq and he had to weld in a new rocker but his was far more damaged and he believes this is purely cosmetic and can be pulled out.

sounds like you are near Reno? those are welded in, and you have to get a puller

I'm not near Reno but I will be picking up the cars in a couple weeks and trailering them back to Colorado where one will be getting restored/upgraded and the other will become a track car.

glad they are going to a good home yeah, the 91 can receive the black interior from the 90 and the car is pretty much complete.
i wanted to pick those 2 up myself, but i dont have the space and finances to deal with them

That was the plan, swap over the interior, get the rocker straightened out, get the motor up and running and then run it like that for a little until I get all the rest of my 07k parts in and then it'll get everything done. Rs2/s2 bumpers, paint, 07k swap, 01e trans, suspension, etc...

The 90 will take a little longer as I'm essentially going to be copying James' (terrybullwon) build with some deviations here and there.
