Default Anyone have the special (triple square) transmission drain plug socket I could borrow?

My rear diff was a 17mm hex key for the drain/fill plugs, as is my transmission fill plug, just the drain on the transmission uses the triple square head.

I could leave a deposit, or whatever was needed. I'd only need it for a day or so.

Thanks!

Default Dude no need for that, just go to AutoZone or Advance Auto Parts and pickup a 4 piece set for ....

less than $20. I remember some years ago when I did not know whta the hell whas that and needed to tahe off my driveshafts, I found them sold separately at NAPA, but not all stores will have it. Where are you located?

Default Yeah that sound better ;) just get rid of that post. Stupid tools......

I had to pay $40 for shipping only to get the tool for the headbolts, cause I need it on monday. and the tool is another $30 so there go 2 sets af head bolts worth for a tool I will ptobably never use again. I hate that

Think of the money you saved, not paying the dealership to do the work! ;O)

You can always rent to tools to others, or throw'm up on Ebay.
