is it possible to repair/reseal/recoat the hydraulic top lines?

I've replaced them when they've broken on my car. They come in pairs from Audi and I have bought them new and from junkyard cars both.

Here's a link to the part numbers for each

I got a new set for the upper right new in packaging from uk eBay for $125. Not too bad but still expensive as hell! I'm going to grab the next whole set I see in a junkyard
