00532 - Ross-Tech Wiki

You can go to Ross-Tech and run the codes.

A quick check shows 16514 is an O2 sensor problem

16885 is a vehicle speed speed sensor problem

00652 is a gear monitoring implausible signal

00532 is a voltage supply too low (significant..this can cause real headaches, control units need 12v)

00589 and 00588 are airbag problems.

The others were not listed..maybe re-check the codes.

First thing is find out why the control unit(s) are not getting 12v..that may cure a number of faults. How old is the ignition switch?

The ignition switch is a known failure point and Audi went through several designs of the switch. Audi had a recall or service campaign to replace those switches too. When the ignition switch starts to fail..your electrical system will get very unreliable. Could be a source of some of your problems.

Use a OEM (not aftermarket) 4A0905849A switch from Audi..shop the price too. I got two OEM switches off eBay for $25 each. VW sells the switch too..about $33..if you ask real nice or you know someone.

It may solve some problems for you. Once you have the switch installed..clear the codes and see what you got.
