Anyone running 215/45 17's on a B3 sedan? On 17x7.5 et35.. where will she rub?
Wondering where it might rub, the 215/45's offer 3x the amount of tire selection, where as the 215/40's leave me wanting...
The 215/45's rubbed really bad on my 86 4kQ's tie rod end (even with a spacer) and from what i understand the B3 is pretty close to the B2 in regards to tire/wheel spacing. Are the tie rods in the same position?
Anyone running this size or know where it may rub?

fyi Falkens tend to run wider than other brands, so they will rub even more
I tried some 215/55/16's on my b3 and the rear rubbed on the front of the rear fender to the point that I had to remove them. I think you will run into the same problem unless you go 40 series. in the front you will probably rubbing your tie rod as well.

I have 215/40's on 37ets on my 90 (summers only) and I get a bit of rubbing at full lock
and a light bump - typically backing out of a driveway. During normal running it's never beer an issue. I would prefer going to a 45 though as I have smacked the rims pretty hard a few times.
