What options for strut mounts without Mance Parts?
Now that mance is no longer making strut mounts, what are our options?
Both of mine have gone bad in my 1994 cabbie
I've stfa and ive seen a few suggestions and responses to them , but no definitive answers.
034- people say they break very fast
oem- apparently crap
meyle- apparently crap
fixed mounts?
I found ones made by comp brake, but they appear to be all metal? That apparently will vibrate a ton.

What's the best option?

I'm using the 034 street density strut mounts on mine..so far so good. It is hard to re-engineer those parts. They were over-loaded with a 2.8 engine with all the accessories..considering they used the same strut mounts in Europe with the smaller/lighter engines too.
Sadly the strut mounts are a maintenance item. The 034 mounts seem to work well for me.

original (sachs, green) strut mounts are better then 034.
034 failed on my cq in a few months, and many had the same problem, just check motorgeek or just google it. 80q: 034 Density strut mounts too small :: motorgeek.com
You can make the "mance mount save" rings easily, that will save your new oem mount.

or you can go with solid mounts. Albert makes and sells them, very good dude.

or adjustable: https://www.akmotorsport.net/shop/al...h-12mm-offset/

im running solid upper mounts, aluminum subframe bushings, delrin a-arm bushings with bilsteins and springs, really could not answer that. but my guess would be that you may notice a slight increase in road noise transferring into the chassi. but handling becomes much more responsive as your top of the shocks don't float around changing your geometry
