Default A90 1995 , turn signals are now hazards?

i recently purchased a a90 it was working fine but now the right and left turn singles indicates the 4-way or hazards. i tried searching for an answer and what ive come up is mostly newer audis with stalk or relay replacement. were are all the fuse boxes? i cannot find the one inside the car(if there is) only the one in the engine bay. i replaced the hazard button and still no luck thus far. when the car is off and i try using my turn indicator nothing hapens(no lights). would this most likely be a relay? if so where is it?

-update
my windows and radio stopped working aswell

You have two fuse boxes with relays..one under the hood near the firewall on the driver's side and the other inside the car just above the driver's side kick panel above the pedals. There are four 10mm screws holding the panel on, two are under some decorative plugs.

The flasher relay controls the emergency flashers and turn signals. It is probably inside the car..

Look at page 28 on this wiring diagram PDF..it should be applicable for your 1995 Audi 90. http://12v.org/urs/1996_Audi_Cabriol...g_Diagrams.pdf

Default Return of the turn-signals?

Hardi,

When you are next having a dull moment, please confirm whether or not your turn-signals have resumed normal function; and that the only change has been the ignition switch.

With this car theres never a dull moment lol.

I replaced the relay and it worked shortly after i ran into the problem again. After inspecting beind the dash i was able to find bare wires making contact and shorting out the relay. fixed the wires and the turn signals have been working ever since.

Excellent find. Note that finishing off a thread like that makes it much more useful to others search-wise, rather than just another dead-ended conversation.
