advice concerning power wire for amp for a sound sytem
I've been trying to determine what would the easiest and most effective way to run a power line from my engine bay to my trunk. I cannot really find any pre existing holes to enter the cabin via firewall. Or go by the fender. Would my best option be just drilling a hole? 1995 Audi 90 that I'm installing two 12inch subs and 650 watt amp.

driver side, behind the ABS, follow the wires coming from your battery, they will lead you inside the car.
or do what i did, relocate the battery into the trunk

Thank you, ill try behind the abs. Do you happen to know were in the dash it comes out? I dont really want to take my entire dash apart. While I was poking around myself I haven't noticed atleast any obvious spots, atleast for to me so far unless I missed something.

if you take the cover that sits below the steering wheel (above the pedal cluster) you will notice whole bunch of wires, it's in there somewhere. ill try to snap some pix tomorrow as my have my cover removed

Found it! Thank you for the help felt rather stupid as i didn't see it came out behind the ABS. I saw the rubber rubber grommet near the clutch pedal on the left side, Was having a hard time thinking of how i was going to get the wire through since it already had a fuse and i wanted the fuse to be closer to the battery so i used a fly swatter (the end of it looped) put the swatter through the hole i made and went to the bay and put the wire through the loop and pulled from the cabin, and done. ran the power wire underneath the door kick panel for driver side front and back, and put the wire under the seat through the trunk. I'm wondering though how I'm going to run the REM wire and RCAs, does the console come out easily? (where the e break is and were the gauge cluster is above the ash tray, at-least on my car)

awesome, sorry i forgot about the picture. the center console is easy to remove. right now i ran my own speaker wires from the head unit to the speakers under the trim next to the door. my plan is to run a 4 channel amp for the speakers, the way i was gonna do that is runn a main cable from head unit to the amp in the trunk, and run the speaker wires on the sides for the rear doors and in the center for the center underneath the carpet for the front speakers

I never posted back but after i took out my radio i saw there was a gap behind near the glovebox. ran it under there and thru the kick panel and under the back seat into the trunk. a lot eaiser than i thought it was going to be and i rather like the clips audi used for the kick panels i didnt break any!
Thank you for the insight!
