Default Audi 90 quattro 95 - bleeding clutch?

I was curious as how i would bleed my clutch on my 90 Quattro, its a v6 5 speed. The clutch tends to grab very high (almost to the top of the pedal) about 8 or so inches i would think. I am leaning towards my master and slave possibly going bad, is there a way to tell if the clutch is worn? it doesn't seem like it to me but i'd rather have a diagnostic approach.

same as brakes, try bleeding it first as most of the time that part gets neglected.
