Default Brake Pad Carrier needed.

Hi guys,

I replaced the rotors and pads on my '94 90Q but now have a new issue. The bottom guide pin on the passenger side Brake Pad Carrier is rusted in place and no matter how much hammering, it will not break loose. I tried heating it up but only have access to a regular propane torch and not any "real" heat. I hit it so many times that I had to retap the hole because I messed up the opening for the bolt.

Any chance one of you guys has a Brake Pad Carrier for sale? send me a PM, if so.

Thanks!

Default Rock Auto has some for $27

Product Detail

Check the part number as it is listed for a "90" and no distinction as to if it fits a quattro..they may be the same.

The bay has one too:

Okay front passenger side. Your best bet is on Amazon. A re-manufactured RF caliper with the bracket for $69 and free shipping.

Original part number for the bracket is 447615125 and is very pricey from Audi.

Thanks for the input. I watched a video of a guy getting one loose with just a propane torch. I'm going to get a new bottle of propane and try again. Fingers crossed.
