1990 Audi Coupe. Heats been out for a few years. Hasn't been a winter vehicle. I tried tackling the issue. Swapped a tested working climate control unit. Nothing. Then a different regulator. Nothing. I was poking around the relay and then the grounds and boom it turns on. Had it running all night. Then today it died again. Went home and tried it. I could hear a faint turn of the fan. I swapped regulators again and went to plug the power and ground into the fan and boom. On again. All this time it's been only defrost with a little floor. No vents. Pretty sure that's another issue. I checked all the grounds and cleaned them but made no difference today before it fired up. I have many gremlin but this one is first in line. Thanks in advance. Oh yeh, I now have a extra working climate control unit for sale.

Update. It must have been a loose connection to the blower motor. It has acted up once since then but working the last week straight. Still would like to know the problem. Next is the vents. Anyone had this problem. I get def. and some heat. No vents.

Update #2. It worked till yesterday when we dip into the 20's. Wouldn't turn on for the first 10 min. Now working fine. Could it be a temp sensor gone bad?
