I purchased FWD b4 Audi 90 manual transmission not long ago. I took apart alot of things and finally i got to the interior.
I want to take the dashboard out but I cannot! I took all the bolts, panels and what soever out, even the whole airbag with the wooden trim, and there something holding the dash in the area somewhere behind the central vents and the passenger side of the dash. While on the drivers side the dash is getting out easy.

CR is correct. And i had to remove the two gold colored glovebox brackets too..I don't remember why..I think they are in the way when you pull the dash.

Is'nt it bolt in the fire wall from the outside also?!?

Yes. The outside bolts are for the heater core, and have to be removed later when taking the core down, but I removed them anyway.
