Default Heater control "valve" issue

I have a '90 audi 90 quattro with climate control, and I ended up having an absolutely terrible coolant leak, well down pour, coming from what, normally, would be the heater control valve. I have done many hours of research trying to figure out a part name, or part number, or anything of the sort but have completely short handed. To give the best description of what the part looks like: black T, 3/4 inlet/outlet(if i remember correctly), opening is roughly an inch and a half in diameter where the heater sensor goes and then the clip(which sadly i lost). I have the last 4 of the part number(9497) but thats all I have left. the inlet and outlets broke inside the hoses and then cracked along the entire length of the part itself. I am blaming this specific part having to be bypassed as for my heater core failing because, got to blame something.

A part number, a link to another one, a name of the part, anything would be helpful.
