What engine should I go with I'm aware that if I go with afc engine that I have to have the downpipes as well. But which is the over all better engine? Aah or afc? Afc with aah cams is the way to go. I also found a set 283 cams from catcams. I also have m200 ecu. Gasket matched intake, tb gasket matched to intake, 4 to 3 wire maf conversion, with new motor will bring gasket matching intake to heads and ecm tuning by 034.

I'll be pulling an AAH out of my '94 Cabriolet sometime before spring. 75k miles at the moment, previous owner spent about 4 grand on it mid-2013 replacing seals, timing belt, full service. I think there's a new OE oil pump in there as well.
Runs great, no leaks at all. I've got a TDI 5 speed I'll be swapping in its place.
