Default Lower oil pan gasket replacement? AFC motor

Recently, my Audi has a terrible leak at the oil pan. I replaced the value cover gaskets that were leaking on both sides. The passengers side was bad. After that, i noticed that the car still leaked. I suspect now from the oil pan. I assume only the lower oil pan gasket but is there a tutorial on how to remove the lower oil pan steel gasket on the 12v AFC motor. The gasket looked unusual with its oil pick up design in there.

Update:
After a member informed me (below) of the pressure switch being a possibility i checked it and it was the culprit.

12v.org diagram only helped inform me of possible headaches.

Thank you.

to be honest, nothing special. just crap load of bolts and torque down everything back to spec. to do the upper one, you have to drop the subframe (or at least lower it) i would do the upper and lower at the same time. Here is a list of parts i would replace while doing this job.
078 115 037 - oil pickup o-ring(far as i know, dealer only)
078 115 037 - oil cooler o-ring
078 103 609 E -upper oil pan gasket
078 103 609 G - lower oil pan gasket

Just double check and be sure it is the oil pan leaking. Sometimes the oil pressure switch(s) leak and create a mess that looks like an oil pan or sump leaking oil. And the oil cooler "O" ring will leak too..and make a mess. All those oil leaks are on the driver's side front area of the engine.

Thank you rusty, after I cleaned the lower portion with break cleaner I pushed the rubber housing around the switch back a littie to peer into it. It was in fact causing the leak. It seems its been leaking fir a long time. How do I go about removing and replacing it? (easiest access point) AFC motor. Thank you for the insight!!

I tackled this project last weekend and sadly didn't update my own thread on it.

This is a real pain in the you know what to do, but don't get frustrated, you will replace it.

I removed the oil filter, cooler, and the bracket in front of the oil pan which will sort of help you get in there with a deep socket. I think it's 24, but don't quote me.

You'll need some clamps to pinch the hoses so you don't loose your coolant.

I was able to do this job with the car over a pit at my work's vehicle shop along with a friend who is a mechanic.

Good luck.
