Default Starting issues ...

1998 Cab
get in turn the key ..... all the lights on the cluster come on BUT keep turning and engine will not crank .... thinking its the Ignition Switch any one have any ideas

If you don't know when the Ignition switch was replaced, it wouldn't be a bad idea to swap a new one in.

You need to check the wire on the starter to see if it is getting 12V with the key turned.
There is a connector near the battery where you can get access to the wire easier than at the starter itself.

New version is black and improved, original are white. If it's white then it's original and simply worn out.
Whites were notorious for cracking where the spring perch is.

My car had a Viper alarm with a remote start ..... Installed by the previous owner, I removed it over the weekend, it was killing the batt and some how throwing off the factory alarm it's like they were out of sink SO I installed a new alarm and remote start I think it's Compustart it's all working fine so no I did not change the switch yet but I will
