A1 Steering wheel peeling
Hi there,
Wondering if anyone has had this problem with their steering wheel. My Audi A1 car is 4 years old in may and done only 26,000 km. I have recently noticed that the steering wheel has been peeling at the top of the steering wheel and on the right hand side. Having contacted my dealer about this they initially said it was wear and tear on the steering wheel, or it was due to a chemical reaction such as sun cream or using moisturiser.
Has anyone else had this issue as I find it hard to believe given there is nothing in any of the audi information about this potentially happening.

It´s a common problem known on VW,BMW and every other brand/car that has Synthetic leather on it, I would advise a steering wheel cover.(check images)
Although I find you´re Kilometers too low for that to happen

Have you tried using any kind of leather conditioner on it? I've actually had good luck with cleaning and treating older steering wheels... I use Lexol, but any good leather cleaner might work well.
