The problem statement step by step is as follows:
1. We (me and my wife) typically use Honda but at this particular case we bought Audi A1 on 2012 on 29. 07. 2012 (74-456-76);
2. Why did we do it? Very simple. Because of your excellent sellers in Beer Sheva site of Champion Motors – your representative clearly explained us that Audi is very different from other cars as Honda, for instance, Audi is luxury car. By purchasing Audi you are getting into luxury club. The car is more expensive, but Audi car is more reliable, nothing should generally happened, but if so... , you are in a luxury club – do not worry.
3. After 4 years and about 64,000 km driving the roof lining of the luxury car fell down on the head of my lively wife while driving on the high way (Road number 6).
4. I am not going to describe her feelings during this disaster, but she has found a way to keep the car on the road without any evil consequences.
5. We contacted to Champion Motors garage in Beer Sheva, guys checked the roof (one of the workers said “Terrible, I have never seen the failure like this”) and started to discuss “money” as this the only question they were and are focused in.
6. In the end they proposed us to pay 30% of the fixing that is about NIS 5,000.
7. We checked the prices with other companies they were very impressed by the numbers and told us that the prices we received from Champion Motors are too high, unreasonably high.
8. Discussions with Champion Motors were unsuccessful – the customer service representative told me that everything could happened with Audi at any time and in our case I have to pay to the fixing because the warranty period is 3 years. Me and my son tried to contact to Audi in Germany and all our attempts remain without any attention.
9. It is clear that warranty period is 3 years, but the failure is not traditional. The roof lining had fell down not because 4 years passed. The roof lining fell down because the manufacturer of luxury car Audi produced the roof of my car with the violations of the technology requirements. Therefore Audi should pay for the fixing of our car.
10. We have contacted service department in Germany but did not receive reasonable answer.
11. We asked service department in Germany to escalate the issue to upper level of management but they left our request without any attention.

Well that's not nice at all.. Good luck fighting Audi for this. Usually the dealers are the ones who go to bat for the customer.
