Has anyone tested their wifi connection speed with an app like speedtest? I was told it will not come in as fast as an AT&T smartphone. But my speed is incredibly slow. So slow that my Youtube app on my phone buffers every 3 seconds. I'm using an LG G3. I have a trouble ticket in with Audi and AT&T. Display on MMI shows full bars of LTE coverage.

In case this happens to anyone else, it was my cars router.

So did the dealer actually replace the router? Out of curiosity, do you know where it's located? In the glove box?

They had not located the router when I left on the loaner. But I believe it's under the hood somewhere. The tech thought it was part of the MMI cd unit in the glovebox but whatever module he replaced did not fix my issue. So he has to do some investigating.

I did think that the router was in the upgradable 'card' in the MMI. At the A3 roll-out, I think I remember being told that it was on there.

I imagine (total guess here) is that there must be a way to 'reboot' the router, both hard and soft resets.

Curious to know… I'll ask at the dealership next time I'm in there.
