Is the Daytona Package a higher value S3?
Would anyone think that the limited edition, Daytona 1 package (350 built) S3 is worth more than, as a used car, a standard S3 with similar options. (obviously not color since it can't (reasonably) be ordered in Daytona grey.).
Thoughts?

So, unless the color grabs you, you should pass.

Not only does it have the best color....but the red calipers! They must be good for a couple of horses. I picked up a Launch Saturday and walked away from my order for a loaded silver S3 that was due in December. I never heard the B&O so luckily I don't know what I'm missing.
As far as it being worth more....RED calipers!

I hope so....but
maybe not.
My choices were travel a short way and pick one up (should be this week) or wait a month for an over optioned panther black (same place as my Daytona) or wait 3 months and deal with the dealers here for a full order.
IMO all the Daytona is missing is the B&O and I have heard enough mixed reviews to not care too much about it.
If the quality of it bothers me enough I will upgrade the stereo for real.

I drove one last week sitting at the dealer in Greenwich CT. It does not have the convenience package. It is still there. I'm not a fan of the color (50 shades of grey).

Heated mirrors maybe?
Some appear to be missing the convenience package.

I have the heated mirror icon on the sideview mirror switch, so I'm assuming my Daytona package has heated mirrors (though it hasn't been cold enough to test it).
It doesn't have auto dimming side/rearview mirrors (which sucks), the LED lighting (cheap/easy to add), or the compass function (who uses this?). I'm not sure what the "storage compartment and luggage compartment package" entails.
*Edit* The Daytona package does have heated mirrors. I turned them on today and it was indicated that they were on in the MMI.

I agree, but I'm a Sirius/XM listener primarily....Electric Area comes through clean! I have to make some time to load up CDs so I can here the range better.
