Default Is the Daytona Package a higher value S3?

Would anyone think that the limited edition, Daytona 1 package (350 built) S3 is worth more than, as a used car, a standard S3 with similar options. (obviously not color since it can't (reasonably) be ordered in Daytona grey.).

Thoughts?

No. This model does not have the B&O speaker system.

So, unless the color grabs you, you should pass.

Not only does it have the best color....but the red calipers! They must be good for a couple of horses. I picked up a Launch Saturday and walked away from my order for a loaded silver S3 that was due in December. I never heard the B&O so luckily I don't know what I'm missing.

As far as it being worth more....RED calipers!

Default I hope so....but

maybe not.

My choices were travel a short way and pick one up (should be this week) or wait a month for an over optioned panther black (same place as my Daytona) or wait 3 months and deal with the dealers here for a full order.

IMO all the Daytona is missing is the B&O and I have heard enough mixed reviews to not care too much about it.

If the quality of it bothers me enough I will upgrade the stereo for real.

Some appear to be missing the convenience package.

Convenience package:
* Exterior mirrors, heated, electrically folding with automatic anti-glare on driver s side
* Led Lighting package
* Storage compartment and luggage compartment package
* Compass function, digital for the interior mirror

I drove one last week sitting at the dealer in Greenwich CT. It does not have the convenience package. It is still there. I'm not a fan of the color (50 shades of grey).

I heard someone say theirs had heated mirrors but not the rest. Would like to have the heated mirrors but not all concerned about the rest. Had assumed it had none of it though.

I have the heated mirror icon on the sideview mirror switch, so I'm assuming my Daytona package has heated mirrors (though it hasn't been cold enough to test it).

It doesn't have auto dimming side/rearview mirrors (which sucks), the LED lighting (cheap/easy to add), or the compass function (who uses this?). I'm not sure what the "storage compartment and luggage compartment package" entails.

*Edit* The Daytona package does have heated mirrors. I turned them on today and it was indicated that they were on in the MMI.

I listened to the B&O is it was great, really good. BUT, I am really surprised at how good the Stock System is, best stock system I've every heard… and I"m a huge audiophile.

I agree, but I'm a Sirius/XM listener primarily....Electric Area comes through clean! I have to make some time to load up CDs so I can here the range better.

This car accelerates like it has a desmodromic engine. Must be that Ducati influence.
