Not sure about the S3 but I have an 2015 A3 2.0 Quatro and it does have a dipstick.

Yup, S3 has a dipstick. My sales rep was very surprised when he saw it when we first went over my car when it was delivered. Me, not realizing that Audi had eliminated dipsticks on many models, was thinking this rep was smoking crack or something. Seriously? Shocked there is a dipstick? LOL. Old habits dies hard and I check often. I even check my tire pressure often. 20+ years in USAF maintenance will do that do you. One can never check often enough.
