Ok, last rail on this... Where did they even find a 10 gig HD, did they go back to the 90's to get them at CompUSA?

They are probably solid state drives, or hybrids. I doubt they are old ATA IDE hard drives from the late 90s.

Their are plenty of 7" 8GB tablets or low-priced music players/iPods available at that size, with removable storage add-ons that can increase your amount of storage.

So a 10GB storage in a vehicle is not alarming to me.

If 10GB isn't enough keep your music on your phone and stream it via bluetooth.

Maybe if we open up the MMI we'll find a USB port with a jump drive plugged in! LOL.

lol! Probably a custom made chip (SD card like I hope). Because Mechanical drives are slow.

You're late. I'm already putting music on SD cards I already bought (2x32GB)

But yeah... I didn't realize that you could store vids on the internal HD either until I saw this vid. Its video called "Audi A3 MMI Media: Onboard Media". Enjoy

Thanks! SD Cards are ordered an should arrive in a couple days. The 10gb seems really stupid now.

There is something spinning in there, I do not think it's SSD

And I should correct, it might a 15 gb, cause right now the usable space is saying 11.5 gb

Heck they make SD cards as big as 128GB now, so imagine 2 of those plus the 10GB storage.
Yea but when you go to look for music, the HD and SD cards arent combined into a single view. So you need to choose 'jukebox' or 'sd card'. That is a bit of a pain (and who can remember?).
