It isn't very specific. No dates or nothing. At this point I think the dealer has more info in regards to dates and expected delivery. Haven't called mine in a while.

My dealer contact provided me the status report that my S3 would ship on 10/17/14, arrive at port (Davisville, RI) 10/25/14. The Mermaid Ace is scheduled for 10/24/14 arrival at Davisville. I saw Mermaid Ace depart Emden via the MarineTraffic.com website on 10/17 @ 1:30am UTC.

I received an email from Audi a few hours later telling me my S3 was shipping.

So I think you can use the ship schedule to confirm pretty confidently once you received an update from your dealer or the Audi email.

Yep... I got the email today as anticipated. Status... European Port. Been a long wait. Oh yeah... I'm curious to see how your S3 will stack up on your mileage chart on your signature.

Thanks to Spoonie I was able to confirm my S3 is on the Auriga Leader, leaving Emden on the 24th and arriving at San Diego on November 21st.
Sepang + black/Titanium + Nav + Backup camera + Convenience.
Same colors as the one tested by Motor Trend.
I am hoping it will be faster to the 1/4 mile.
I will keep Fuelly stats and try to see what a hyper miler can do. Check my numbers for the S4 below

Glad to be of assistance. I'm still not sure which ship my car will be on. It's now looking like the "Adriatic Highway" due to arrive Nov 3rd.

It's confusing because the email said that it was at the European port. The "Adriatic Highway" is currently in port in Emden. The emails appear to go out once a week on Mondays. So it is possible that my car was put on a ship that already left last week. Fingers crossed.

Fuel mileage? My last car the best I was able to get on a tank was 17mpg. EVOs suck in that regard. Looking forward to the S3.

Did you have significant mods to that car or did you drive it hard a lot? My 8 got 22-24 with city driving and I've logged 29 quite a few times on long highway trips. (car was pushing 440 awhp with all the mods) It was definitely hard to stay our of boost most days though lol.
