Am I right to say that HomeLink is not available at all even with the Prestige package? I could not find it anywhere.

Are we talking about a $40,000 car without an option to open community gates and garage doors?

Please say that I am wrong.

No Homelink for the 2015 A3.

The A3 hasn't had HomeLink since the 2006 model year.

Wow! I didn't even notice that. Figured it would be a standard item in a car they are saying is so technologically advanced. Just went the HomeLink website looks like you are able to pick up a aftermarket unit for about $250 plus installation.

I agree. Homelink should be available. I also would like memory seats and mirrors and the option of no sunroof.

That's one of the little things that makes me think a 2015 A4 might be better for me than a 2015 A3. I must say, however, the seats in the A3 are nicer than those in the A4 - more like those in the C7 A6.

While the A4 has homelink and memory seats, the A4 doesn't have front sensors for the parking system. Just don't get how AoA packages technology and features in vehicle. You can get it all in Europe.

Anyone know if the visors used in the A3 /S3 are the same size as other Audi's If so may just get a black visor from another model that has the home link intergrated in it.

Now I just need to figure out the no memory seats dilemma (I got it! nobody drives her but me)

On the A4 and Q5, the Homelink transmitter / receiver is in the front grill area. The controls are in the overhead console. What model Audi do you think has Homelink integrated into the sun visor?

For my S3 I will just buy a third party garage door opener or an aftermarket Homelink device.

The 2006 Homelink had controls in the visor and the transmitter in the front bumper.

Europe doesn't get HomeLink either. It wasn't developed for the A3 worldwide. Massive oversight, but not as bad as MB CLA which doesn't offer advanced key.
