I contacted the nearby competing dealer. They said they would happily do 6% off MSRP on one in inventory or a new order, even without ACNA discount.

Where does 6% off put you in relation to Invoice?

I have a dealer who is willing to sell for $300 over invoice.

I calculated invoice at about 7.4% when we were shopping.

Of the 4 dealers in our area, all are selling S3s as quick as they land at full MSRP. I got an offer for 3% over invoice due to an existing relationship/previous purchase with my dealer, but the 6% ACNA discount ended up being a better deal for both parties, since the 3% over invoice offer was actually more of a cut to the dealer's margin than the 4% off MSRP they are responsible for under ACNA.

Do you guys recommend to get the extended warranty, audicare and other stuffs from dealer?

I am planning to change oil by myself.

I think paying for the services up-front is worth it, there's a discount on the services and you can use it to negotiate a better price on the car. ( I think that's called audi care.)

I'm not much for extended warranties, although I usually don't keeps cars past the lease, particularly first model-year Audis.

Don't change the first oil yourself before 5000 miles, it's a special break-in oil (at least I'm told this).

My 2 cents

Nice! Care to share where? Or anyone else who got 6+ % off I'm in NJ. Would pull the trigger on that in a Miami minute.

Thanks!

The first oil change/maintenance should be at 5,000 miles and is free if you go to an Audi dealer. I'd wait to change it myself until after that, since they do other things (wheel/tire rotation is one, I believe) at that milepost. You can be a few hundred miles early if you can't wait for 5,000 miles) and it is a good time to follow-up on any minor issues or questions.
I have had Audi Care on my last 4 Audi's (including present A6) and think it worthwhile if only because everything with an Audi is expensive.

I assume you are in the US, it might be different in ROW.

FWIW - I am told Audi runs-in all the engines and changes the oil at the factory after the run-in, so it is safe to wait until 5,000 miles.
